PSF I love my children

Thinking of my children makes me smile, it also makes me roll my eyes, laugh and sometimes cry. But, I would not trade them for the world. Often I think what would my life be like without these cute little blessings and I don't want to imagine. Even when I am cleaning poop off the floor because the twins played monster truck rally through their diapers and I am crying as I scrub carpet that will never be the same, I love them. Even when Sarah has wet her panties for the third time and says she just forgot to get up and go, I love them. Even when Caleb has asked me for the tenth time if he can play his Nintendo DS(even though he has lost his privileges to play) I love them. I love them because no matter what they are my children and I am blessed that God has allowed me to be their mother. I love that this world has not crushed their dreams and they dream big. I love that they want to marry each other so they never have to "leave" our family. I love that on any given afternoon we could be visited by Peter Pan, a princess, a T- Rex, a ballerina or a dog. I love that they want to hold my hand and kiss me goodnight. I just love them. It isn't really a story today, but I have just been moved by my kids today and wanted to share.

God is so good! Isn't it amazing that he has given us the privilege to be mothers?

And thank you for this post. It is such a good reminder of how blessed we are :)
