Our family vacation....well sort of

We took a family vacation to Sanibel and the bags were packed, the kids were excited and I was ready for memories to be made. So my mom and I took off on Monday loaded with stuff and four very eager children. Let me say that the first day was great we had plenty of room and we hit the pool and the beach with smiles on our faces. But, I think i may have bit off more than I could chew. The place we chose to go to was supposed to be family friendly. Apparently, not Crawford family friendly, you see my kids were up by 6:30 every morning and the pool didn't open until 8. What is a mom to do with two two year olds who can't stand to be cooped up inside. Of course we could have headed for the beach but the twins wanted no part in that because the salt water burned the cuts on their feet from the shells.(mental note get water shoes next year)So long story short after being yelled at by one of the other tenants because my child was outside at 7 am playing with his car on our balcony and the prospect of doing this for another three days. I came home after my dear sweet husband arrived (I spent one day with my hubby out of seven vacation days with him) I brought the boys home and William stayed with the older two. So lesson learned we are going back to Disney World where the fun never stops and you can be as loud as you want to and most people get up before noon.

This is what vacation does to mommy and Thomas
