The joy in my heart

Yes, this was not the birth that I had planned. Yes, I am ready to be back to normal and not scarred and covered with tape and bandages. But, she is so worth it. God gave us a beautiful baby girl exactly one week ago today and I can never tell you how very excited, joyful, humble, grateful and thankful I truly am. There is so much more to why I feel the way that I do about having this little bundle of joy but it is best kept between me and the Lord.
What a gift! What a beautiful testimony to God's faithfulness when you just let Him be Him. We have so many people around us that have been praying and pouring out love to our family as we have welcomed Miss Lily into out family and we are so thankful.

I am looking forward to getting back to a routine and just the little things like being able to sit on the floor and play dolls with Sarah.( I could not do anything like that for the past 3 months and I think she is having withdraws)

I am looking forward to cramming(I mean cram) in the van and heading to church as a new family of 7. But most of all I am looking forward to moments like these when we celebrate life and the love we have for each other in our family.
