Lily is four weeks old and growing every day

We are all slowly adjusting to having a seventh member to the Crawford family. It really is fun to have an infant and children that are older and a little more self sufficient. Now I can go nurse and relax and not have to get up to find something, open something, or clean up a spill my other kids are big enough to do it themselves or help each other get it done. The biggest thing that has plagued me is the missing sleep, I did not realize how much sleeping I was doing on bed rest and how much I am having to adjust. Not to mentioned we have battled fever, throw up and diarrhea all since Lily came home....but we have survived.

Lily really is an easy baby...she is nursing well, growing (she is back up to birth weight) she sleeps well, endures the constant attention of her siblings (which means being held, being sung to, being touched you name it) I just fall more in love with her every day. I am trying to get over the "mommy guilt" that my other kids are being a little neglected as it is hard to nurse and fight with light sabers.....but this too shall pass.

One of the biggest things that I love about having a newborn is seeing my hubby with her. I am so blessed to have William as a hubby. God knew what he was doing. He is so sweet and attentive and head over heels in love with Lily in fact, it just makes me fall in love with him more and more. There is nothing more powerful than a daddy who comes home not to turn on the baseball game(that happens later) but to kiss his newborn and hold her and love on her.

Anyway now that I have rambled here are a few new pics.
