Isn't it summer?

Sarah comes out of her bedroom this morning and announces she is ready for the pool. Now for those of you who know me and my children, the simple fact that she was out of her pj's was funny in itself. But, to my surprise she had found her bikini and had put it on and was ready to hit the pool. Caleb quickly told her that she would "Freeze her tushie off!" and proceeded to explain the fundamentals of weather and seasons. I then was asked" how long until summer ?" and thought to myself I don't really know. I mean who would have thought that for the second morning in a row my house would be running on auxiliary heat. Which was explained to me to be when the temp is so cold the normal heat can not work alone. All I know is that while i am not ready for 90 degrees I am ready for at least 70.
