Let me say that the twins have had runny noses and a cough that has prompted the use of their albuterol nebulizer that I have been told can cause irritability. But, no where in the literature does it say that they lack the ability to listen to their mommy(not that they had this anywhere near perfection to begin with)would be compromised so severely.
Anyway last night after I took Caleb to the urgent care for an ear infection and what later included a fever(which resulted in him sleeping with me and wetting my bed, don't ask) I put the twins to bed and normally they are allowed to play for a little while so that I can finish things in the kitchen without disturbing them too much. So I go in to check on them after about 30 mins and they have removed their mattresses from the bed and removed their diapers.(No poop at least) So they get punished, re diapered, lights go out and they are to be quiet and go to bed.
30 mins later I return to check on them(I know better than to leave them unsupervised for long)Once again, diapers are off, mattress on the floor, pee on the mattress and trying to climb the now mattress less bed to get up to the window cord. Again, punish, re diaper and off to bed they should go. Mind you it is now approaching 10pm and they are usually asleep by now. 30 mins. I return and would you believe it, it has happened again now it is time to really be dramatic. I am silent, I give them the evil eye and I begin to pick up every scrap of fun available in their rooms. I roll up the carpet that looks like a road, and proceed to place it all inside the closet locked away perhaps never to return again. Next ,I move the beds out of the room leaving only the mattress behind. Mind you I am silent and surprisingly calm. I move the mattress next to each other place them in their beds, say good night and walk out of the room. I had to go in three or four more times after that to put a diaper on two times and tell them to be quiet.
Now it is 11pm. I am tired and ready for bed. So you would think after all of this the night was over, but NOOOOO! At 2 am Thomas starts crying because his bed is wet, who knows if his diaper was loose or he leaked, I went in put his blankets on the floor and returned to the couch where I was now sleeping because Caleb peed in my bed. What a night! I hope Daddy reads this from TN because he missed a very "exciting" night.
The pics are the twins"new" living arrangement and my front room with two beds.

I am sorry that I am laughing! But I am! EJ once removed her diaper, peed in the crib and then covered the pee spot with a blanket and slept on top of it! She probably knew better than to call for mommy's help!
Oh no! That's sounds horrible. I'm so sorry. I guess I should appreciate the fact that Wesley does not know how to take off his diaper yet!
