35 weeks and 3 cm dialated

You read it right today I had an NST(Non stress test) appt with my regular OB. I have been feeling rather yucky with lots of pressure and general discomfort for the past few days but nothing so unbearable that I rushed to the hospital. Today, Lily heartbeat was a little on the fast side for her NST so they also did an ultrasound and I saw her doing her practice breathing(a good sign) and she scored an 8 out of 8 for her BPP(Bio Physical profile). Then he checked me and said well you were right that pressure you felt is you dilating and you are at 3 cm. Now I am not a first time mom and realize and have in the past walked around for 2 weeks being 3 cm. But something in the Dr.'s demeanor and the fact that this is baby number 5 told me that Lily may be making an appearance sooner than later. With all that being said please pray for a safe delivery and a safe and healthy mommy and baby. We are still a little earlier than they would like but know that it is all in God's hands.
