and the winner for chunky monkey in the womb goes to.......

I had my 34 week ultrasound yesterday and Lily was doing really great. But, due to some issues controlling my blood sugar(long story) she is a tad on the plump size. I am 34 weeks  and Lily weighs 6lbs and 7 oz. Now for some of you this may not seem surprising, but look at her gestational age if I were not a diabetic I would have 6 weeks left in my pregnancy. As it is I still have 4 weeks left as a diabetic pregnancy. I will admit that the last few weeks I have been struggling with making good food choices and today is my 33rd birthday and we have been celebrating my birthday and Sarah's birthday(she will be 7 at the end of the month)weekend long. My perinatologist wants to check me in 3 weeks to see where we are and I will continue to do biweekly NST's. I don't havve any great pics to show because ahe was head down and looking toward my tush so we could not get a great head shot. I do however have pics of why I am struggling with bad food choices.

My hubby made this cake for my birthday.

The day before that Sarah had a friend over to celebrate and we had cupcakes.

So yes I have been surrounded by sweets and yummy treats, but hopefully I can get back on track.
